active crossover setting????

when setting my amp gains,where should my crossover bass settings be.?? right now my kicker amp gains are at the lowest and i just use my cossover bass knob for bass, is this good or bad??

i have a clarion 575usb hu with 5v pre out into a clarion 3-way active x/over,into 2 kicker x2500,on 4 L715s. im using my x/over bass gain knob. any help

i would probably set the bass level on the x-over to the minimum and set the gains form the amp

crossover should be set at approx 80hz (higher or lower depending on your taste/setup)

the bass knob really shouldnt be on at all -ever - if you do use it i wouldnt put it over +3..

What are your midbasses?

Personally I don't like any LP setting over 60Hz with a pretty steep slope...
