Accord wall dilemma???

Alright well i stopped by the shop again today and talked to the owner sum more. And we went out and took sum measurements he took them a lil short jus to b save and he said he thinks he calulated it right and each sub would have like 3.7 or 4 cubs per and i told him that ported they require 5-8per and he said they might be able to do sealed but they still might b a lil under wat they r rated and not having enough airspace with make them more punchier...He said his box specialist had the day off and told me to stop by tomorrow and we'll have him measure just incase he might know a way itll work to get 4.He told me 2 would be plenty loud and id prolly b hitting in the 155-160db.and said that if it still wasnt loud enough thatthey could make me another faceplate to where i could do 12's or 15's.

Im gonna c if itll work if i have my seats skutted up and door panels removed and maybe even rear deck removed

I think the shop you went to doesn't know what the hell they are doing

For one they are pulling bullshit numbers out of their *** as to what you will hit, and two, I am pretty sure if you are walling it, that there is more than ~7-8 cubes to work with.

well he has 2 9500 12's on a 4k mtx amp and its makes his windshield flex and he said hes hittin in the 150s so he figured with 2 an 5k each id hit around 155+

And ima go in tomorrow cause the box specialist was off today cause they said hes been workin 7days straight

alright well i went to 2 more shops today TJ audio which carries ATON of name brands an does alot of competing and has compitition trucks and they said they could fit 4 but itd cost 1500.then i went to laws electronics and they said i couldnt an a wall for 2 would b 700

He said they have i believe 3 15"s in a s10 and it did a 157.6

So idk

So for clarification, would your wall replace the back seat? It sounds like the wall would be right behind your front seats? if so then you would have plenty of room for 4 18's but it'd be better to do 2 so you could fit everything else you're gonna need (like amps, batteries, yadda yadda)

Ya completly removing back seats,door panelds and carpet and maybe rear deck and dynamat.that wat TJ said that itd take alot of room for batts and amps but WTH i could pull a small trailor lol

here's my thought. STick with 2 18"s and give them a rediculous amount of power, at least 2500wrms each. Make sure whoever does the wall does a good job. You will be pleased with the loudness, I guarantee. Keep in mind though that 4 15's take up about the same amount of airspace to port, but have 200 more sq. in. of area (which mean they can push alot more air) and could handle more power depending on which 4 you pick.

Ya i was wanting to do 4 cause i figured if i was gonna spend alot on a wall then go as big as i can and since i already have 2 18" fi btl D1 coils i figured id try 2 more and he said he would kut me a deal on some cliff design 2800 amps for i think 750 each modded,and some kinetik 2400 for 300 a pop since id need 6.and He said he fiberglass the edges on the inside of the box and port for smoother airflow

i think 4 18's on 6200watt each would b louder than 4 15's at 3500watt each

well if ur car is paid for and ur not an wuss do what frankie rio did! cut everygot**** thing out! rear deck and all how u think he fit 12 12's in an Lexus Gs 400 hell he had 6 15's too, there isnt taht much room in those lexus either! i honestly think u can fit 4 18s in the accord it have to be an clamshell maybe or some weird shape box

on the low end it would be way easier to get loud vs trying to get loud on low notes with an flatwall. flatwall u can get better numbers easier. but i def think u can cram 4 18s in there, but ud have to do some major cutting! no rear deck no $hit!
