absolute newb. what do i need?

Okay what you need is

4 gauge wiring kit I prefer kicker hyperflex kit you can buy it on amazon.

This will include the fuse and fuse holder and all that you will install in your engine bay

a set of rca cables 20ft or a little shorter

I don't know if you already have a head unit "aftermarket" but if you dont you should get one because it can be a PITA if you dont I prefer alpine

Thats about it

That is the great thing about Maestro products, they are very thorough. Downside is the price tag.
