Hey there, I am looking to get a system for the car ill be getting soon (Honda Accord)

Just wondering what I should get? I want 2 12's at least. What brand is the best (Rockford, Alpine, JL etc.) and what specific subs should I get? I also need to know what amp I should get. I have roughly $600-1000 to spend on a system.

Probably buying the stuff from http://www.sonicelectronix.com/

I am fairly new to this so all help is greatly appreciated!

Also forgot to mention.. I would mostly be bumpin rap

Some good budget subs: RE Audio "RE" subs, Kicker CVR's, Alpine Type-R's

Some good budget sub amps: Kenwood 2ch and monoblocks, Hifonics 2ch and monoblocks

when you say system, do you mean headunit, speakers, subs, amps, etc, or just a substage? If you want just a substage, ignore the stuff above. You can get one hell of a substage for $600

Whats a substage? What I was hoping for was a CD Player, 2 12 subs, and a decent amp. Would I need new speakers do you think? Sorry if that didn't answer your question, kind of new to this :p

I've been scammed countless times so I would prefer to buy brand new, and not have to worry about it being blown or anything. Money isn't that big of an issue right now but the cheaper the better.

You could do the 8" as a front sub on its own amp and use it to bridge/enhance the gap between your 12" in the rear to the midranges
