About to scrap my new system... Need help

Seems like it sounds better crossed at 120 and the sub set at 63. My sub is rated at 800 rms and i have a hatchback, its pretty overwhelming when cranked up. Do you guys know of anyone that can do custom pods for the tweeters? i am very interested.

You are missing a lot of music. If you have a decent EQ drop to 80 and lower the EQ a db or 2. Take some stress off them but get what's missing. Back your sub down till its blending not overpowering.

as far as crossovers and slope etc, i use the decks crossovers, not the amp... its easier to adjust (DONT USE BOTH). and set it to what sounds best to you. after your gains are set right, id unhook your sub and dial in your main speakers. play some heavy bass music, with the volume up the loudest youll ever listen to it and drop the crossover point until the speaker starts to sound bad, then raise it a tad. then blend in your sub.

ps, i use higher slopes (24db), its just seems easier to dial in

also, you might want to get one of these. being able to tweak on the fly is AWESOME! no menus and submenus to deal with. i mounted one under my seat. LOVE IT. use it all the time, since some songs sound like crap to begin with, it really make songs sound better. theyre like $65 on ebay
