Can I run speaker wire next to my power wire? I know some people say rcas being run along the power wire can cause problems, but I have never heard anything about speaker wire.....

It would be the same difference. You will get interference in the signal. EMI.

get the twisted wire to help get rid of as much as possible..

Agree but you should really run your speaker wires with your RCA's and as far away from your power wires as possible...at least 18".

ive read up and most of you are wrong. learned that DC power cannot radiate noise into any AC signals. plus almost all my wires run on the same side of the car and ive never had problems. when you do hear noise its most likely a faulty ground.

I have one speaker cable next to power cables,and one speaker cable next to rcaa..

No noise or anything.. So.. By my opinion u r safe to go go!

Hmm, interesting. I have never seen this issue come up before nor is there much discussion about it. Anyone else have any input on the topic?

I too have ran speaker wire on both sides of the car and along power wire without any issues.

I had my speaker wire run next to power and had no interference at all. just my 2c

I have it done like that on one side of my car, and no issues.
