Its easier to use a VM. Im not a fan of Dual booting simply because I hate messing with partitions. If you ever want to get rid of the dual boot you have to do it in a specific order so you dont render your main OS unbootable.

Hmmmm food for thought. I have 2 different partitions right now 300ish gb for Windows 200ish for ubuntu. Gah decision decisions lol

you buy a mac to be "cool" or if you want the software that mac has. I would rather spend less and get better specs lol

or for a true gaming computer this blows the mac away'

would be my choice over buying a mac but if you want a mac get a mac

Id stick with Asus, Sager/Clevo, or pretty much any brand sold by XoticPC.

Great now I need to decide what to do. I might grab a windows laptop with a second small SSD and load OSx onto it if I can figure out how to do it. That would be easier than setting up the partitions and that way I don't need to wory about keeping track of the UBS drive with my VM on it.

no viruses here on my windows pc and I only use ms security essentials (free with a valid copy of windows), same for my netbook and my parents pc

I have been using PC since I was 13 and since i was maybe 16 I dont think I have ever gotten a virus. Just dont be a rittard and you'll be fine. that should be macs slogan
