About to build box for my xxx15. have a question.

Bored of waiting for my new sub, i'm gonna start building the box for it. I have to go sealed(no choice,small trunk) SQ is what i am after. I listen to mostly DRUM and BASS, so need tight bass. RE site says 2 cubic feet. Should i just do it like they say? does anyone here have tried different sizes? Need advise before starting. Thanks
