?? About Rear Decks

Didn't know where to put this so I put it in General...

My question is, does anyone know if removing the rear deck will in any way affect the structural integrity of a Fox Body Car???

I need to know because, well, mine's getting cut out tomorrow...

Not completely though. Where the rear glass starts to curve (if anyone's ever seen the rear of a Fox Body TBird, you'll know what I'm talking about), it will be cut straight across there to make room for a big *** box...

If anyone knows, or could point me in a direction to find out, I would really be appreciative...

EDIT: YAY, I'm over 400 posts!!! Sorry, just realized that...

Nope, no fold down seats...

Rear seat already removed...

Some vertical bracing where the back of the seat used to be...

Rear deck is just supported off of that. . I was just wondering the structural integrity of it all.

I actually don't think it does that much, as it looks fairly flimsy (but, looks can be decieving), and has always flexed with every sub setup I ever had...
