Just wondering which are more efficient if you compare the correct models that are matched.

Such as maybe like the 400.1 to the Z1A.

Just wondering if there is an amp that requires more electrical or more power hungry. Also which one is more dependable....

Z1a and 500.1 are practically the same, that is what you need to compare.

fact they are very close to one another would lead most people to get which ever one is more affordable.

can't go wrong with either amp. 500.1 more eff. than the 400.1. (atleast that is what bob said)

LOL.... And yes Z1A = VFL 500.1 not VFL 400.1 (smaller amp)
