A question for the more experienced

Ok so my new box is about 4 inches to long :-( it's a greatbox the doublebaffle sure makes itlook fantastic, but if I cut the end off about 4 inches apart from loosing some airspace would anything bad happen?

I saw that you said your box didn't fit...if you can somehow take it apart to get it to fit, I say go for it...

Well I was thinking chopping like 4 inches of the end and then redoing the end so it sealed up

Sealed i would just lose some air space which I'm not really worried about I'm at 1.6 ish before displacement so 1.35 or 1.4 would be doable

it will still tune the box higher. bigger box even sealed=getting lower... smaller=higher

Same port, smaller air space = higher tuning...no way around it.

hmmm... but to the OP that should work, just be sure to secure it properly together.

agree. i was just explaining the effect. id still try to stay within manufacturers specs if possible. but should work, just use some cawk... i mean caulk and screws lol
