i have a jl 300/4 on my highs. i finally hooked my orion hcca 250r up last night. but, now my highs arent as loud. they play low even on 30. i have soundstream 5x 7 comps. i have a 4 ga. from my batt. to my dist. block. got 4 ga. from the block to the amps. they started doing that after i hooked up my bass amp. i disconnect my bass amp.but, its still doing the same thing. whats up?

Oh, well I was going to say maybe when the head unit lost power it changed your EQ settings and maybe before the EQ settings were lost you had the treb up past zero and possibly loudness on, but if the head unit never lost power then that wouldn't be the case.

somebody told me at mobileone. that the jl amp has to be on a seperate power line to the battery. the voltage level had drop to low. thats why my highs was playing so low. i have to run another line to my battery for my bass or try another type of highs amp.
