A little sub help

I have in my truck A thunderform box that fits under the back seat. It has 2-10" MTX Thunderform 4500 subs powered by the built in amplifier that I believe is only 200 watts. Does anyone have any recommendations for me as to what my next step would be for louder, harder hitting base? should I put in a bigger amp and will these speakers handle a bigger amp than what is powering it now or should I stay with the built in amp and just go with some better subs. If you are recommending a sub change what would you suggest I go with. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Truck is a dodge dakota club cab. I want to keep the thunderform box. I was hoping to go with better subs but I'm not quite sure what to get. I don't want to have to remove anything in the back. Budget say $800.

Id look into building a new box instead of keeping that one. Hefty budget for under a backseat

In general I would reccomend bigger amp, better subs, then new box... in that order as potential upgrades. IF you weren't trying to stay within vary narrow space/shape/size of box constraints I'd reccomend a new box first, but if you're set on the box fitting a specific location you probably have little gain to be had building the same size/shape box yourself over a prefab.

The MTX RTS10-04 sub would work fine, 2 of those and a small MTX TD500.1D amp would be perfect! If you switch out the subs you would need to get rid of the built in amp as well. The subs and amp in the thunderform run at .35 ohms.
