Does this sound like a decent deal? What is a Q-Logic box type? Would that fit in 04 Corolla as far a enclosure space? Just trying to get some advice from the pros //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Any recommendations for the AMP?

That is a decent deal -- not over the top great -- but pretty dam good. I have seen two sold on E-bay for between 420ish and 450.

The Q-Logic is just a brand of prefab boxes. Sounds like you got that description off of Crutchfield or some other place that sells Q Logic.

I don't know for sure, but I imagine that you could fit those in your car. Put it this way, if you can fit any pair of 12's in that car it would be probably be those as they don't require a lot of space. (at least by the mftr's recommended enclosure).

Nice sounding subs.

If the warranty is actually worth anything then it's a good price. I paid $175 for one on ebay with no warranty. Even if you use the passive radiator with them they still just require 1 cubic foot per sub.

Oh, and if I am reading that right they are single coil 4 ohm, which means that you will be wiring them so that your amp is seeing a 2ohm load. So make sure that your amp is capable of putting out the power you need at 2ohms. In other words, don't rely on the amps 1 ohm rating which may be different than the power it puts out at 2ohms.

Thanks. So are you enjoying it? I have heard them before but never owned one. Do you run it sealed or ported?
I have it in a sealed box but I also have a GTR passive radiator with it. I don't have it hooked up yet but it's the best looking sub I've personally seen.

I may not be reading that right but I don't think that amp is going to match up -- it shows output at 4 ohms when bridged, so I am not sure that it is going to be stable at 2ohms when bridged. Maybe someone else can confirm.

BTW, do you know if the guy also sells dual 4ohm G5's? If so, you could wire down to 1ohm and get something like the Sundown 1000d to push them. I know I saw one FS here not long agao. he was asking around $260 but maybe you could get negotiate to your comfort zone.
