Hey guys

Im new to the site and im looking for a little bit of information. Im currently running a Hertz 12" with an Infinity reference amp. I think im putting out 350rms/700 max, but im looking to step it up this year. Im really interested in getting some alpine subs. Ive been looking at there type-X series. Now i drive a 95 honda accord 2dr. If i get 2 12" type x's would it be too loud for me? I also need to know about placement of the subs(whether i should keep them in my trunk or take out the back seat and have them sitting there instead. I would also like to know what amp i would need to run to power the 2 12's.(preferibly alpine amp)

leave them in the trunk, possibly port the rear deck. as far as a pair of type xs' being to loud, depends on who you ask. for me they'd be fine, for alot of others here they probably wouldn't cut it. for amps, if wanting to stick with alpine, i'd go with a pair of pdx 1000.1. just remember, running that much power you'd better be thinking of upgrading the charging system.

one type x is enough... you just need the perfect box, im selling mine with a custom built box (2.0cb ft @ 30hz with 3/4" mdf wood)

Which Hertz are you running, and what does your front stage consist of?
