A Little help with an Install...

Hey guys I am about to buy a Kenwood DNX6140 (link at bottom). Only problem is I have a Chevrolet Silverado 2000 Model. Which we all know do not fit Double Din headunits like this Kenwood. I know people have got them to fit before with the help of a 03+ dash bezel (which I am purchasing as well). My only question is, if anyone has experience with this install, is if I need to buy any kind of kits to help me with this customizing project? Or is it all just test and check type work? Anyone help with this or even a step-by-step guide on how to get a DD unit to fit a 1.5 unit would greatly be appreciated! Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

I had a '99 Silverado but only installed my present Alpine CDA-9887 (not double DIN). My '08 is double DIN but again, my 9887 is presently installed.

Another thing you want to keep in mind with a double DIN HU is where everything plugs in on the back of the HU. Make sure you are going to have clearance in the dash. I had to do some cutting inside the dash just to get my 9887 to fit in my '08. The **** RCA plugs stuck out too far and it took some finesse to get everything in place.
