A little confusion...

While I'm waiting for my bxi2010d to finally get here, I'm wondering about how to properly fuse my power wire going to the amp.

I see in the online manual it says to use a 200amp ANL fuse near the battery, however the amp itself isn't fused...so do I have to put another fuse near the amp? Seems a little redundant, but I guess "normal" amps have the fuses built in 'em.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

You can use the 200a near the batt as long as there are no other amps hooked up. If you add another amp, you should move the 200a fuse near to the bxi and get a larger one by the batt.

Yeah, it'll just be the bxi on that one wire. I'm not a big fan of distribution box's and all that, would rather just run a dedicated line for each amp.

Hey smoka, that MTX sub ended up breaking that bread trucks frame...would be cool to see a vid of it!
