Pay for a consult with a real lawyer who deals with estate. From my understanding though a last will would still stand. Of course in many situations it can still be fought. So like I started with in this reply, go sit down with an attorney to discuss all specific matters directly. Get a solid answer. All we can do is throw assumptions up here as we don't know all the details, nor would I expect a real lawyer to listen to all your details and give advice for free.

Depends on the state but I think the last will and testament should take precedence.

like a I said in order for a lawyer to give real legal advice, he needs to sit and listen to all details of the situation. It just isn't something that can concretely be answered in a thread on a forum.
