A good, true 3k amp.

Nothing against ap but put a saz-3000d beside a ap3000 and open them up. As far as quality parts ap cant even come close to the saz. Now the new ap3500 is a different story.

a true 3k+ for under $315shipped is unheard of, hell a true 1500+ for under $150shipped is crazy to...

In all honesty I would take an AP 3k over your aq 2200d, and a ap 1500 over an aq 1200...spending extra money if you dont have to is stupid

Not the same thing at all, ap3000 does power at 2 ohms, saz3000 does power at 1.

The sundown is more stable at lower impedances which is imo very important.

The sundown is also more stable at lower voltages, also again very important imo.

Ok when did I say AQ anything?? Now if you’re going to say that a ap3000 is even in the same league as a saz-3000 then I don't even know what to say.

P.S since you did bring up AQ I would still pick my 2200d over a audiopop 3000 any day of the week. That just my opinion. I don't consider spending alil more money on a better quality amp a waste of money. But hey if cheap dirty power is ur thing then AP all day.

power wise it sure is in the same league, both will do roughly the same the sundown just cost 2 to 3 times as much, and as far as dirty power from a class D amp, ur a dumba$$ if you think your subs, electrical, ears, etc will be able to tell a difference in a "dirty" class D amp vs a "clean" class D amp..U my friend are an idiot, but hey if you think your aq amp is that much better then an AP you are sadly mistaken

You Sir are the stupid one to even think that a ap3000 is anywhere near the quality of a saz-3000. PM me and let me know once that ap does what its good at doing (going pop). Yep I sure do think that aq amps are built better then ap amps. Hit me up a year from now and we will see how many ap's you have gone thru while I will still be sporting the same AQ.

lol, if you want an amp that runs @.5ohms dont buy the AP its 2ohm stable, if the setup your running calls for 3k @2ohms then get the ap, duhh!!!, I never said the AP was able to be ran at .5ohms, but honestly the gains in power from .5-1ohm are not noticeable by the ear, so a Sundown runing at 1ohm and an AP running at 2ohms will produce similar power, its been proven, and where did I say they use top of the line internals?? No matter what internals you use, if a Dumba$$ like you gets a hold of one it will blow up all the same..ur paying 3times more price for something that will produce similar power, and I would be willing to bet that just as many sundown amps have gone poof from stupid guys who think there amps are bulletproof as have the ap's...

Also the aq amps are not anywhere near close to the cost of them...Since your talking internals, look at the board in your 2200, and tell me whats "quality" and whats

ok i just dont understand spending hundreds more for the same result.

compare the 2 on a clamped test with an oscope involved...you'll see why its not the same result.

and you would be an idiot for saying this unless your sub is @ 3000rms. Overpowering a sub with a "dirty"(clipped) signal will cause heat buildup and eventual open or slinky coil. not many 3krms subs out there that i know of. dam near every company rates as high as 2500rms so show me your 3k wont send clipped signal to a sub and still put out 3000+ continuously
