A good active Xover?

I'm not too well versed with these, i have one but it's a POS Sony. It might work but it's ugly and every piece of Sony equipment I've ever dealt with has LOUSY sound. So doing a delicate process such as this with a piece of crap seems illogical.

I have an eclipse 8454 headunit, and an Alpine MRV-F545.

Planning on running a sub/subs off of two bridged channels, then component mids off the other two. I'll have another small Alpine or equal/better quality for the tweeters.

The components that I use will be either dayton or morel, depending how much money I have at the time.
