A coupole of Box Designs

if they are 12 inch type r's they need DOUBLE that box. they need 2.5 cubes per sub, with quite a bit of port. Also, Second box will not work at all, i guess it will, but not how its planned to. You cant do the port AT ALL like that.

it wasnt THAT loud..............LMAO. that ****ing thing was retarded loud. ive heard my fair share of 145+ and that was by far louder to the EAR atleast.

the T ports works for any sub enclosure as long as the port area is taken into account. if you are doing the T port desing using winISD, use dual slot port. make sure you look at the rear port- air velocity. it shoul be bellow 16.5 m/s to avoid port noice. then you can add the width of each port or the higth of the port, never double the length.

as far as having a divider in between the ports. is suggested to have a divides right in the middle of the port on the very back wall where the ports plit, with the same width opening of the ports rear ports, if its splits at 2" then a 2" or 2.5" divider is all you need. air will continue to run along to the opening of the port without problems.

so if you calculated a dual 2" port with what ever hight and a length of 16" then the port should have a 4" opening with what ever higth was calculated and then the same length but split 2" from the back wall and continues at 2" to meet the length of the port.

here is an image that may self explain it self.

Yep.......if mine was close to that I would shat myself:laugh:
LMFAO. you liked that type R huh. for a little hundred dollar sub i cant complain on what it did in the mustang either. I had a chopped paul wall BURNED cd and it shook my balls i swear. Chris's was just retarded loud period.

looks good, just a small sugestion on the port divider it should be atleast 2" in depth since your rear ports are 2" that way your sure to help lower turbulance on that area. its not a big deal but it helps.

again looks good. now lets see some pics of the build up.lol
