hey guys, about to finish up my first system and need an amp for my front soundstage. I realize I only need a 2 channel amp but I have MB Quart QSD's that need a good 150-200 watts going to them. Anyway, there was an amp that sort of caught my eye and it was an Audison 4 channel amp. Bridged, it would put out about 210 at 4 ohms bridged. At 4 ohm stereo, it only puts out about 65 watts per channel and I already have a small amp for my rears so I only want to use 2 of the channels but 2 channel amps at 200 watts in 4 ohm stereo are just as expensive and hard to come by. I was wondering if it is acceptable to bridge an amp for highs and mids or if thats only something you are supposed to do with subs?

It will be stereo as long as the RCA cables are run correctly. Run the right input of your RCA cable into one set of bridged channels and the left RCA input into the other set of bridged channels. On the Audison LRx there should be markings showing what input to use if your bridging the channels as well as what speaker terminals to use when you bridge the channels.

I tried to link the manual but couldn't. If you don't have it, it is available on Audison's sitehttp://www.audison.com/default.asp?lang=eng
