Now that my business is back up and running, I want to turn my old Tahoe into an SQ demo vehicle. The head unit is DIN and there are no kits for double din available so my question after a quick look at the cavity it looks like I can fit a double din unit in and just fabricate a new dash cover panel. Does this sound right? Has anyone ever done this, or know of someone? Also looking for suggestion as to A great head unit with high voltage 3-way rca output. i have to scrap the old 9855 and put something new that I can sell in there. Thought about the Pioneer 6300BT, but I dont think I like the flip face very much. It kinda looks hacky. Thanks for any help you guys have!!!!

"it can be done ,you have to take out the the old deck and the lower cd player then drop the heater / ac controls, then fabricate and glass the bezel for accommodate the double din."

Thanks for this, That is what I was originally thinking, but when I saw the radio cavity I thought I might get away just modifying my bezel, Either way, once I get the alarm in this week I'll mess with it and keep you posted. It's just hard to find the time. It's like a madhouse around here. As it is I had my little helper tear out the interior because I don't have the time.
