97' Firebird system

im thinking about buying a 97' firebird but my only drawback other than it has 76k miles is that i dont know how much room i have to put a system. does anyone have any ideas how big of a box i can fit and it ill be able to still put stuff in the hatch

Remove your spare tire, and use the well to fit a subwoofer... Use the other side to hide the amps needed, and you won't touch the lower hatch area.

Fiberglassing the spare tire well will give you about 1.5ish cubic feet...

First off, buy it. Firebirds are awesome....76k? Sounds good to me...I wish I had one, gay Probe..

Not to trash on my own car... but...

They are average at best... built cheaply, rattling panels are more than common thing with no system in the vehicle at all, plastic everywhere, window motors that fail on the drop of a hat, door panels that love to crack when stressed in the wrong spot, poor winter handling, my list could go on...

It's a pleasure vehicle only, quite frankly as a regular driver, I'd find my firebird to be nothing short of pathetic... I find the people arguing the other way are the kids that are still out trying to impress someone...

how much are you paying for this firebird. 76k is not alot if the car was treat right. but I would never buy a amercain car I use to have a 1987 toyota mr2 that had 255k it never gave me any problems.

sorry i havent been on in awhile...they are asking $7800 its dark green very very clean and has the chrome factory wheels... i dont think im going to buy it i have to drive to work everyday so i put 50 miles on my truck a day and by the end of the summer if i had that firebird it would probably have over 100,000 on it and then resale and shit ya know:banghead: so i think im going to wait save up some more money and buy a newer firebird or possibly a TA

yea it I wouldn't buy it my friend want to buy one but he is worry how long it will last and the fact that it is rear wheel drive we live in rochster it snows alot here where do you live. I would buy a ***** am they have the w6 engine right? how many horse power dose that have would you ever think about buying a import car. or are you one of those pople who can only buy amercian
