I've just had a closer look and still have no idea what's going on. Another thing I've noticed is that the stereo turns off when I turn the car off, but while the car is still off, the stereo turns itself back on and just keeps starting up and shutting down until I remove the faceplate. Could this be an indicator of my problem?
