95 Chevy Blazer 4.3L HO Alt CHEAP!!!!!!

Ad244 is a direct swap, you don't have to do ANYTHING. I've tested many and they all put out over 200A at idle when cold and range from 95-110 @ idle once warm. That's with the stock pulley too, easily swap a smaller one on there and get some more power. I pick them up for $50~ shipped all day, I usually throw in new brushes and clean up the rotor/stator and RARELY a bearing but that's it. Usually have about $60-$70 in them when done, not a bad price for 100a+ @ idle. I've thrown a tiny pulley on once and was getting around 140a @ idle and maxxed over 300a but it didn't last more than a few months. Not surprising going from a 2-1/4" pulley to a 1-7/8" pulley.

are you refering to this type alt? if so, thats actually pretty good. it looks like it will fit my blazer. it says for chevy 4.3l suv's but from 1996 - 2005. i think that will fit tho, the mounting brackets look just like the brackets on my stock alt

how much do they put out? dude run a 3500 rms amp i highly dout a stock ad244 will put out enough
Probably just as much, if not more than your DC did... I was running like 5000~ RMS off mine with 3) UPS12-350mr's (one under the hood, two in the back) and 4 runs of KLMX wire.

yeah, but I get them used from salvage yards for like 1/4 that price. If you're THAT worried about the output, instead of getting a longer belt, get a smaller pulley for it. that'll increase your output and you can use the stock belt.

i mean im worried about output but i mean i just want a good alt. and for the 250amp ad244 for 175 shipped i didnt think it was that bad. and you say you get them for half that price, if i had a place down here were i could get them at half of 175 i would, but we dont have any good salvage yards where i live

To bolt the AD244 alt on your exact truck you will need to drill out one of the mounting wholes just a tad larger and add a longer belt. It is very easy and will work with no issues what so ever.

If you had a newer truck as described it would be 100% bolt on.
