'95 Caddy Deville - 2 Fi Qs, Custom Trunk

What the hell? Then he says he is hispanic and you say that explains it. Explains what?
I think his car looks straight! I know plenty of Black and hispanic people and most of their rides are pretty clean.

Kinda silly of you.
Thanks I was kind of wondering the same thing... oh well can't please everyone.

What did you do with all the computer **** on the back of the seats? I want to move mine but I don't want to tear anything up

It's still there, I'm afraid to dick with anything because I know if I do something will go wrong (unwritten law, fyi //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif). I still got pretty decent bass response with the seat pulled forward about 2 inches... happened by accident as I said before but the difference in bass gains in the cabin were like night and day. If you don't wanna go that route just remove the rubber and leather from the back of the armrest, and all of the sound insulation from the seat back/trunk. In mine it was a fabric beauty cover and a hard plastic barrier keeping much of the sound out of the cabin

Went to the UPS hub today and picked up meh package //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. Knu KLMX 1/0ga wiring kit, 250amp fuse //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Now to find a place to run it...

Yup, just debating now if I'm going to try and squeeze it through the pass. side with the 4ga there as well or run it under the car, in some metal conduit or other protective sleeve. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

i would not suggest running it under the car(even if u use conduit)... drill a hole in the firewall and get a rubber grommit.. can be had for fairly cheap and easier to do IMO

i know caddys have a lot of **** under the dash and in the engine compartment.. but i am sure there is a spot .. maybe even expand the hole u have the 4gauge running through?

You'd probably slap me if you knew where I was running it now, lol... There's a space near the hood hinge where the wire can slip under un-impeded, and it runs down through the door jamb and into the car. Nothing's getting pinched, but the blue color of the wiring has all but dissolved //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

If that's your parking lot, have the 9 ready

all night long. That is going to be one sweet

setup.

hm.. i bet there is some room where the wires go into the cabin.. follow them from the fuse box under the hood. it may be under an air filter or batterybox(not too familiar with the underhood layout of a deville )... u could probably fit the 0 gauge through there

or there could be an unused hole in the firewall plugged up with a grommet that u could use.. again, probably near where the wires go into the cabin at... or even by the steering column.. ?

but i am sure there is somewhere the wire can go thru... heh.. just gotta look hard..

either way.. try avoiding running the wire under the car.. it could be more troublesome than u think to secure conduit and the like //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

but regardless

u have a good grasp of what is going on in yer ride.. keep it up

if there isnt a hole in the firewall that you can reach and use, get a drill and make one....after that its really easy to run the wire these lacs have huge wire tracks running along the floor of the car.
