Hi, I plan on running a kicker zx250.2 and a pg x600.1 amp..I was just wondering if you guys think my stock 90amp alternator will be able to handle what's thrown at it. How do you guys calculate how much current amps take up?

If you guys dont think the stock amp is enough, what are some good HO alternators?

Thanks for the help..

i tried it... and I [95A alt] am doin allright, as long as I dont BLAST it.... I dont dimm at my normal listening volumes. At LOUD *** volumes, my honda dimms HARDCORE. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

pppphhhhhhhhh.......get urself a decenet battery (red or yellow top will suffice) and youll be fiiiiiiiiiiine my man.....run 4awg wire for that and upgrade the wireing for the big 3....shit i was running 2500wrms off 2 red tops and a 90amp alty and i rarely went under 12 volts.....though thats where it stayed at ussually lol......

i crank it up once in a while. no problems at night. around 1800rms, gains set accordingly. no dimming, maybe slight but not even noticeable. this is off my 80amp alt. i ran a single 1/0 power line to the back and 4 gauge to the amps.
