1.67ft^3 is still pretty small for a 15" woofer. I'd start at 3ft^3 each sealed and go from there. If you don't like the way it sounds, add volume to the box(2x4's are an easy way) and see if you like the sound of a smaller box better.you are tilling me that a 1.67 3ft is to small when it's not, yes 1 15 can go in 1.67 Sealed

As for ported, I wouldn't go any lower than 3ft^3....3.5-4ft^3 each tuned ~35hz would probably be optimal.

One or two 15's in that size box may not have much low end.
