Preventable? Yeah ALL terrorist attacks are preventable. It came out that the fort hood shooter was an extremist of a certain "prone to violence" ideology and had become isolated, and made certain statements. Literally every school shooting has been preventable if people only paid attention.

In 9/11's case... there was "chatter" but it wasn't deemed credible. It turned out to be credible and lost thousands of people their lives. I'm sorry that happened but it did. It doesn't mean there's any more to it. I can give you a set of "facts" and present them in such as way as to have you draw any conclusion I want you to.

Also, jet fuel doesn't have to melt steel to bring the building down. Stress a metal under a HUGE load such as that of a skyscraper. Then heat it, but never to it's melting point. You will find that metal does not need to be molten for it's strength to be compromised. Next, realize the height of the structure is not made up of a single beam. It is connected with rivets, bolts, and welds. I already explained how jet fuel could/would/did bring down 2 skyscrapers, in your previous thread where you made this same claim. I even posted a link to a video where the History Channel did their own testing and found that burning jet fuel easily burns hot enough to de-carbonize the steel and weaken it to a point that it would undoubtedly fail under the stress the WTC beams were subjected to. Clearly you are not open to evidence that contradicts your conspiracy theory, which means you have beaten yourself in this debate.

that was a joke... but if you want to take it literally.... i HIGHLY doubt that this guy has actually done any real "field" research... been to ground zero, tested tolerances on steel, talked to eye witness, etc...

truth is, the majority of "truthers" out there are just internet trolls who have seen loose change too many times, and god... everything in that movie HAS to be true... even tho history channel did do a 2 hour special de bunking every claim that "truthers" have made.

i'm not making assumptions... i'm basing this on my "hundreds" of hours of dealing with these "truther" idiots... the vast majority of them are just internet trolls, who have no real idea what they are talking about... and the very few that do have actual research in front of them, refuse to beleive it, or claim that it is, in some way, tainted.

That's actually pretty simple. They monitor air traffic via radar. These pilots flew below the radar. There is a well known story of one going down the hudson to find his way because his own instruments didn't work correctly at such low altitude. That was always their plan. It's what they trained for.
