9/11 4 years

I would like to give a short prayer out to all the victims of 9/11. Tom., Sunday September the 11th, is a day that will never be forgotten. My heart goes out to the families that have lost a father, mother, son, wife, husband, friend, etc. Four years have past since the worst attack on the United States has happened.

"Dear Father, I pray today for the lives lost 4 years ago in New York on September 11th. It is a day that the world will never forget. I pray right now for those families who have been trying to endure with out there loved ones there by there side, there sons to give them warmth, and the children who can't come home and give there mother a kiss on the check. I pray that all is well with the families and that you keep your hand over them, and that you continue to protect your sheep. God I pray for a re-united United States as during that time every one gave there lives up to believing that believing in You was the only way. I pray that, one day You will shine through onto your people and give them strength to rely on you no matter what it is and no matter what trouble they may come across. As being a country that was once founded in your name and from your word, I hope we can continue to rely on You the most, in our time of need. Father stay with the United States as September 11th is a horrible day for thousands of Americans who have lost someone they love deeply. God keep your hand over us all. I also pray for the President as he tries everything in his power to keep the United States "United." I ask all of this in Your name...Amen"

Please keep all immature comments out of this thread, it would be greatly appreciated.

If you feel the need to add a prayer or give some words please don't be shy. It will show courage and love for your country. Please give your hearts out to the families who have lost some one. Keep them in your prayers and rely on God, because as many have forgotten the United States is One Nation UNDER GOD.

I don't give a shit what you believe personally...

I'm not going to argue over it, thats why I changed it. I just wanted this thread to be a calm thread and prayer to the people who have lost familie, friends, etc. Come on your a moderator at least respect that.

How can God bless America whens he's already been kicked of it? no more prayer in schools, cant talk about religion on here or anywhere else w/out making the #2 guy mad.. 10 commandments are no longer apart of our society... and you want God to bless America... Why should he????

How can God bless America whens he's already been kicked of it? no more prayer in schools, cant talk about religion on here or anywhere else w/out making the #2 guy mad.. 10 commandments are no longer apart of our society... and you want God to bless America... Why should he????

WoW guys...this is almost kind of sad. I give a prayer to the families, people, etc. who have lost there lives and the only things you guys can say is keep your religion out of it and this whole God thing. At least GIVE SOME RESPECT. Thats all I'm askin' but I guess thats to much. I'm sorry guys I figured you all would respect the lives that have been lost and give a hand out to the people who have fallen, etc.

I was figuring that, but the way you ended it was kind of weird. Well I'm glad. That is so true...it's funny too because for the three months after 9/11 happened you would go ever and see the three words GOD BLESS AMERICA. Now if you say anything about people go against you...it's sad. I just wanted a good thread to go towards the lives lost, but I guess if something didn't happen to them personally they just don't care...

A thread about 9/11 and all you can do is ***** about religion.. Use just a tad of your brain... Amen to the prayer. Had a moment of silence today at the CC meet for those involved in katrina... but i directed it more towards 9.11 myself.
