I am totally baffled at my new issue as it doesn't follow the rules of logic. Ok here's my situation...
- Alpine MRF-P550 (90x4 RMS @ 4ohms) is getting plenty of juice from 4-ga wire and a Kinetics Power Cell not 4 feet away from it.
- Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 (6.5"s) components running of front left and right channels.
- If I turn the volume up past like 20% on my HU, the amp cuts out, the sub amp and stock rear speakers that run off the HU continue to play, if I turn it back down, the fronts turn back on.
NOW THE WEIRD PART...
- If I switch the speaker wire to amp connections (hook the driver's side components to the R channel and the passenger side components to the L channel) I have no issue and this is how I have it currently until I find the gremlin.
So ONLY the passenger side components have an issue with the Front-Right channel on the amp, they can be hooked up to any of the other 3 channels no problem. BUT when I hook up the driver's side comps or even a small woofer i had laying around to the Front-Right channel on the amp, they don't have an issue. So it's like okay, the Amp isn't the problem, and the speakers aren't the problem. WTF? Is this some sort of I-D 10 T problem? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif:verymad://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
