guys, I finnaly got my 4 9kv.2s hooked up about 12 hours ago and I'm kinda dissapointed at the lack of spl.. I knew I wouldn't be doing 140 but ****.. so now I'm going to rip the substage out and just do a 4th order bandpass blowthrough... I have 4x450w @ 1ohm or 2x900 @ 2ohm available. thinking about 2 18s, 4 15s, or 4-8 12s.. looking for sq mainly I know the 8's do that great but I also want to be able to crank it up every now and then.. which I can't do with the 8's any sub recommendations? I'm already looking at 2 18" fi ssd's or Q's

No room for four 8's ported but you're thinking about 2 18s, 4 15s, or 4-8 12s?

Blowthrough *shakes head at himself*
lol ya, I could only get about 2 cubes under the rear seat. which I want to keep. I don't use the bed much tho. and a bandpass would be killer loud

So you have 2 cubes to work with? And you want to be able to crank it? Get a DD 9510, put it in 1.5 cubes with some external aero ports and get an amp that'll give you 2500 rms. The equipment is more expensive than what you're looking at now, but ******* at least you'll be able to sell your truck at some point.

Here is the one I'm builing in about a month, if I have time. For 2 DD 9515's. 6th order bandpass.

I don't have alot of mounting depth under the seat. I actually had to trhor about 3/4" of washers under there to fit the 4 9kv.2's and a 1.3 cu ft box.... theres no room to play with in the cab..... the bed on the other hand //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif \m/

alright... I think I popped the one that was .5 I still have 3 at 1.3 ohm cranked it up and got some good output.. but now I have nothing coming from that amp... It might have wnet into protect but I don't know... Ill look at it tomorrow..

ok I think I know what happened..... I t was dark and I was hooking shit up kinda fast. the two subs and amp on the left got hooked up right... the two on the left got the negatives crossed.. so the one wasnt hooked up at all and the one was bridged getting ALOT more power than I wanted it too... the amp went into protect mode, it works now. so really I had2 subs running at about 50% volume and one runing 100% and one not at all.... they might get loud after all once I get them hooked up right.
