Hey guys, Im building a system for my brother as of right now lol, I got him 4 RE 8'' subs and glassin those in the back. BTW this is a 73 pontiac firbird formula... Im looking for some nice front speaker..i was looking at DLS, they sound promising...Dont really wanna spend more than 300. I have Rainbow SL in my bmw right now with 150watts per side and the highs are nice but seem midbass is lackin a bit..anyways back to his car, I dont really wana but Rainbows in his, wanna go with something different and so does he. He wants something a little louder than m rainbows( i agree as they dont get loud enough..blah i kno i kno SQ speaker alalala lol) anyways again, shoot me some good speakers! Thanks guys!!!!

weird you get to mount'm and deaden your doors?

whats his budget? heard the Diamond D6's w/ silk tweets recently and they are leaps and bounds better than the last M6's- solid midbass too

budget is around 300...but may be able to go higher...and yes i deaden the piss outta the doors.. 30 sqft each! and there mounted in the door...on the panel... but im going to be makin kicks for his!

is everyone all go for DLS...nobody can beat DLS for around 300ish?? What about boston acoustics?? My problem is the 85watts...i would love to bridge his 4 channel but he seems to think he wants real fill...blah! whats gonna sound the best at 85 watts?

Really lookin into the UR6's...will these babies get loud with 85 watts? My brother wants something that will get stuipid loud. But i told him many times 85 watts wont get you there.. but now hes thinkin it might be ok to bridge the amp which would give us 210 watts...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif But i dont think these dls will get loud, there more of an SQ speaker right? Well I guess i want something that will make you deaf, lol not really but his exhaust is freakin loud, pretty much open headers... So we need something that will get loud. Yes i sound deaden his car but these old cars are all metal and have nothing to them so theres only so much you can do.. And please no bashin on the loudness thing. This is his prefference and i have warned him of all the troubles with decibel level etc.... So what are some loud *** speaker yet retain SQ???
