$800 Including Wires, What would You Do?

i wouls say keep the 2 channel amp you have know and the power wires. that cuts that out of the budget, look into getting a type R can be had on ebay under $140 shipped get a dual 2 ohm so you can run it at 1 ohm on a smaller amp http://cgi.ebay.com/ALPINE-SWR-1222D-12-TYPE-R-2-OHM-1500W-SUBWOOFER-SUB_W0QQitemZ170053039086QQihZ007QQcategoryZ39752QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem. and pick up this amp and run it at 1 ohm $173 shipped http://cgi.ebay.com/HIFONICS-BXi606-MONO-AMP-600-WATTS-BRAND-NEW_W0QQitemZ290053290717QQihZ019QQcategoryZ18797QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem. that is pretty much the same sub channel setup i have and i sounds great sealed, i just have to older model of the amp. and not to bad for $313

I added some component options in the speaker forum. I wouldn't worry at all about using the stock wiring. The only thing I'd worry about in that regard is finding a safe place to put the crossover inside the door (you'll have to settle for that if you're going to use the stock wiring).

Just run a normal gauge wire as far as you can and crimp it with butt connectors to the stock wire when you get to the dash. Over such a short run, the 18 gauge wire won't kill your signal. You'll be OK.
