$800 Including Wires, What would You Do?

Alright, I just killed my old car and I am going to sell my old system this week.

Bought a brand new 2007 Mazda3 (permadebt ftw but I got a good deal). I can probably get at least 5 or 600 bucks for my old setup, that's being fairly pessimistic I think (need to check current prices), and I don't want to spend TOO MUCH more than that on a system for this car.

Criteria:

I want to keep the factory head unit. The only solution seems to be a LOC, some kind of cheap-as-possible audiocontrol model.

Fronts only.

Amped 6.25" fronts, best loudest components possible while still using the factory 18ga speaker wire (read: high sensativity lowish power).

single (obviously amped) 12" in not-built-by-me-box. No tools to do it, don't have the motivation to get that hardcore with this car (at least not yet) and I don't want to get in over my head with work.

4-ga main power wire splitting into 8-ga. Anything bigger than 4ga requires me to drill into the firewall, see previous statements notating laziness/protectiveness of car.

Any input is highly appreciated, even if you have a suggestion for one piece of this sketchy outline somewhere vaguely around where I'm looking for my budget to be. I am at the stage where I am highly open to ideas so nows the time to be opinionated and work your epeens into a state of arousal.

thanks,

Amped 5.25" fronts, best loudest coaxials possible. (using 6x8-to-6.5 plates from crutchfield) I know, I know, but from what I have read it's going to take some hacking into my new car with 300 miles on it to wire up components. Not happening.

I've got an amp if you're interested. It's an Orion 1200D, 1200RMS @ 1ohm. It's basically new, it's been sitting in my floor in the box for about a year. It's been powered up once just to make sure it turned on. It's never been hooked up to a sub before, but I can hook it up tomorrow and take pics if you're interested. $250 shipped.

try out 1 12 maw12 if anything, that will open your budget up to something a little more expensive for up front without really sacrificing a lot.
Very interested in trying one of these out--from what I've read in the minutes since you've posted (christ I'm impulsive.) I am convinced that will be a nice driver for what I'm looking for....

any suggestions on an amp to max this out for a sealed setup? Looks like 350wrms.

BUMP for suggestions on speakers/amp. Also it looks liek I have factory tweeters that I didn't notice so it may be easy enough to install components instead of coaxials. Might fuel the creative juices of the audio junkies out there....

Also for the MAS-12, it handles 350wrms, was going to put a PGx400.1 on it

in this box:

reccomended is 1.4" sealed, thats 1.35". Good?

I don't have the tools to build a box and I am 100% certain that it would turn out crappier than a prefab. Sure eventually with enough experience I'd get a nice one made and have the skill for later, but I'm frankly not willing to make the investment in time/tools now even if it matters later.

That's why I rent instead of own. What can I say, I revel in being short sighted.

Looking to spend 3-400$ total on amp and components. Cheaper if possible, depending on power consumption.

Again my concern is using factory speaker wire for 100wrms, probably not a good idea.
