$800 budget

Friend wanted some recommendations and this is what i came up with. His intial budget was 500 but i couldn't come up with anything in that price range.

PPI 356CS(was gonna recommend rsd's but those are known for tweeter blowouts)

i was thinking 2.5-3 @ 34-36 hz

I have a 2007 Chevy Impala, If I can i would like to keep my trunk space, and im willing to use used parts.

Box Builder on Lockdown...Mike465 aka AMI Creations does GREAT GREAT work and is very fair priced...

Is that all of the space that he has to use? Or is that what he wants, two 10" woofers?

Edit - I see you're in GA? You're about 2.5 hours from Mike - I'm sure he'd A) Be willing to meet you for a small cost with the box or B) You could go pick the box up from him and he'd probably help you screw in the woofers and whatnot... lol

So you want to keep the trunk space...

How about one nice single 12" woofer?

So Sound quality > output, correct? You want to keep your trunk?

First off, I suggest getting at least 50ft of dampening material for that trunk - You don't want to be a rattling can going down the road.

Outside of that everything sounds pretty good. Could also consider(if you wanted to go as cheap as possible) the Hifonics HFI 12's.

Why RSD 10's? Switch that to Type R's

And no RSD comps arent "KNOWN" for tweeter blowouts. They would probably never blow if you give them recomended power. On my first set they never blew on 75 rms. But when I picked up my second set I was giving them 250rms / set and they gave way.
