8 SA-12 box build

This is a box for bassnak who is new to the forum. He will run 8 of these dual 2s on 4 saz2500s. this box is about 16 cubes after all displacement and will be tuned 32hz. Here is todays progress.

the port will be a square port in the front firing towards the hatch. and I will probably put a couple more 2x4s in there

I see resin on top of liquid nails with drywall screws, but no fiberglass mat. Not very rigid of a design IMO for 8 woofers that "generate alot of energy". I don't think I could do anything less than 1" MDF double layered with resin and mat in all joints and use glue covered staples instead of screws.

Yup, 4. thats what Jacob recommended him I guess. A few more 2x4s will keep it good. The resin is there more or less just to make sure about no air leaks. I am actually thinking of 4 more 2x4s. but Ill have a pic of the finished product later when I'm finished with it.
