8" Speaker recommendation

Looking for your comments.

I'm looking for an 8" (round) woofer, or mid-bass woofer with decent midrange response to at least 2,500 or more (-3db). They will be mounted low in the doors and firing straight across the legs. My tweeters are mounted right below the window, at head(?) level. I do like the tight bass of a crisp drum roll, and am missing the voice mid-range up front from what I have now. My rears are kicker 6.0" and are quite satisfactory. Price range no more than 150-200 / pair.

I have been looking at:

Pyle

Audax

Lanzar

Tang Band

Can't find many 8" speakers, but I would like them because they will give me enough low bass for my needs. Sorry about the lack of full details, but i'd rather focus on speaker brand recommendations than my system setup. (Car is a Miata).

Thanks.

An 8 that will play that high would probably be pretty rare. The Adire Koda will play higher than 1khz and the id8 in sealed will play up to 1khz also.

(I just want to see what the other guys have to say - squeak, list those 10 wide-range drivers of yours)

Check out Morel USA`s WR-8 or Morel Israel`s HCW or Elate 8

On Ebay it could also be wise too search for Macrom 59.21, 59.22 or Macrom Integra W-224. (the W-224 are what i am using as midbass, IB in doors)

All of the above mentioned speakers work well IB, have shallow installation depth (52-64mm) and can be used in 2 way systems with 3k-3,3khz upper xover
