8 ohm subs

I have a question that has probably been answered many times before. Right now I have two 8 ohm 10" subwoofers attempting to hook them up to a Kenwood 800 watt two channel amp. What would be the best way to wire these subwoofers to achieve maximum power? Is it pos to pos and neg to neg from one sub to channel one of the amp, same with the other sub(parallel i think)? Or combine the pos and combine the neg from both subs to form one, wiring them to the bridged position of the amp (Series i think)? Any advice is great, thanks.

are they dual subs or just single voice coil? specs on wattage?
