8 inch subs

okay right now i have a single 9kv.2 in .4 sealed inside my standard cab ranger, and i cant hear the **** thing while im driving lol so i was thinking of trying an 8" L5 and seeing if it'd be a little louder.....what do you think? the box will be about .7 before displacement and i've previously had an L5 12 in a .5cube box and it wanged decently in one of my old trucks....what you think?

I would do the 2 8" CVRs, those things can get quite loud...as long as you have the space.

Sounds cool to me. How about some RE8's or L7's or RL-i8's. Those are great choices also.

Aren't released yet. The old ones looked badass.

They will be released @ the end of this week. I think he could wait 2 days lol.

Anywayz, 3 comps would get pretty loud. As long as you have enough power for them.

rl-i 8 wont work its to deep and the comps are only 100rms x3 i have 345w at 1ohm

My buddy has a trio of those 9kv.2's small sealed in his hatch and those things put out great bass with 300 watt amp on them..

I've got a single 9kv2 sealed at 2 ohms (JBL BP300.1) in a WRX. Doesn't get super loud, but loud enough to hear it for sure. Do you have room to port it? They are supposed to get way louder ported.

no i dont have room to port it, im pending a buy right now on 2 eD9kv.2s i might just put 3 in there
