same here, i offerd to sell him my 3 brand new 2 weeks old and he didnt take. its a good deal and they are amazing subs. they can get megaloud but can also sound very good if you know what your doing. just because they are spl based doesnt mean they have zero sq

They dont have zero sq, they have negative sq. That's why reversing the polarity on dd's makes them sound better.

when you want the best you pay a little bit, they are 2 weeks old and im selling them for 70 less then i got them for. you would be amazed at what they can do

DD 1508 is the best 8 inch sub ever made.

Do not listen to anyone who has told you otherwise.

JL makes a decent sub but seriously it is a toy in comparison. I was a huge JL fan at one point but sometimes you have to realize that you have convinced yourself that somethings better than it is.

I cant say how it would do tuned to 28hz tho.

ssa sells them, but have been out for months. Now that TC sounds has gone under, Soundsplinter will probably have to revamp their lineup before we get any more.

no one said i wanted the "best" *cough bullsh*t* cough* sub on the market. i want one that sounds equivalent or relatively close as jl audio. i like how jl gets loud and sounds clean doing it. they have taken their woofer designs way further than any other company today. they still have some of the technologies they founded years ago on their current subs and are competing with other companies with modern day technology. you can take those dd's and shuv them up ur arse

still bullshit. DD does not make the best anything on the market. They make great stuff, but there is no best.

And they are most definitely not the best SQ 8s out there.
