i made boxes at .46ft3, but if i can go smaller i would love to remake them, thank u
Here's a very easy-to-use online sealed box calculator: Car Audio - Sealed Subwoofer Box Design Calculator

In a vehicle, since cabin gain is approximately 12dB/octave, a Qtc of approximately .707 usually provides the flattest response. If I recall correctly, on average, cabin gain starts at about 70Hz.

Looks like about .22 ft3 for each driver provides a Qtc of .707 and this provides a F3 of about 68Hz. The driver you linked to should work fine but you probably should use two in each box you built.

You're almost 50% oversized. Have you tested the speakers in the enclosures?
yes, they sounded ok, but using oversized what will that do, less bass or more bass?

i want to use them either at 80Hz - 4000Hz b/c i have a 10" in the trunk or can i go down to 40Hz-4000Hz and will it be ok with the 10" in the back?

Better oversized enclosure than undersized, IMO. Not more or less bass... just different bass. You need to tune the woofer with the box to best fit the environment they'll be used in and what best suits your personal taste... and EQ if necessary. No ten inch drivers will sound decent up to 4KHz. In a car many tens will sound good from 30-300Hz provided sane listening levels. Other than this basic information I can't help further.

no i was putting my 6.5s at 80-4000, my 10's is like 40-150 i think

i am thinking outter 8H x 10W x 8D comes to be about .21 cu with 3/4 mdf, think that would be good or could i go smaller somehow, thank you all for your help

btw i am looking more for SQ and tighter bass since i just listen to country and some rock and pop, no rap so don't need the SPL

For someone new to car audio you're really making this system complicated. I understand trying to make use of what you already have, but a lot of people enjoy a set of 2-way components up front and a single sub in the trunk on the kinds of music you mainly listen to. If you can make M6+ work as midbass only that's what I'd do.

I don't recommend having the 10" subwoofer and HD-M6+ both playing the same frequencies so much. HD-M6+ can be used without a larger subwoofer in a subdued bass situation where high output is not desired, and that is the #1 reason for placing them into enclosures instead of into doors. Doors =/= good enclosures for bass. People have chosen to use these and similar 6.7" or 6.8" CDT drivers as midbass woofers in the doors despite the less-than-optimal alignment.

When you're looking for a sub that will fire in a small box, look at the EBP of the driver. You can find that number by dividing Fs by Qes and it's a pretty reliable indicator of what kind of space a sub will want. Drivers with an EBP below 50 will do better in a sealed box but they also require more volume in any alignment. Drivers with an EBP of 50-~80 will do well in either ported or sealed alignments and they require less volume. Those above 80 generally work better in vented enclosures but they will operate in a small sealed box pretty good. Lastly, those with an EBP above ~110 usually do very well in small sealed enclosures.

8in sub.........sealed...........200watts...........//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

might as well just do bass noises with your mouth. It'll be louder.
