I have the chance to buy two rd heavyweight 15s or two apxx 12's for about te same price. Which is better? Can handle more power? Etc. Please let me know asap. I have to make my decision real soon

Isn't the Heavyweight a 4" coil? I know people used to put 4-5k on them with music.I'm pretty sure the APXX is a 3" coil which makes me think the RD will absorb more power. Both subs are beasts tho...
Well its tough they made the apx 856 in 3 and 4inch and same for apxx i think ..too many **** options ...even with the 3inch i think they will outdo the hd its a 3inch coil too but he doesnt really have the room for 15s

Apxx 856 is 3", apxx 1078 is 4" (the number is the gap OD in mm)

Rd uses SJA motors (atomic), apx = heavyweight, apxx = super heavyweight

I would choose apxx over heavyweight any day, but the 15's are more cone area.

Bottom line, the apxx's have a better coil and suspension + more motor force, but 15's are still bigger than 12's. So to me it depends on your amp/electrical situation

Doesnt matter the amp/electrical he doesnt have the room for the 15s lol

Well thats a easy choice..u dont really have proper room for the 15s ....but thats ok cuz the apxx 856s are monsters amd can take gobs of power ..are u sure they are apxx 856 and not apx856..they made both...id say snag them.
Yeah im sure they are the apxx 856. They have the 3" coil and so do the heavyweights I believe. And yeah I'm worried about the space I Have. If I got the heavyweights I would try and to an in trunk build. It would b my first attempt. I could also run 1 heavyweight but I prefer running two subs
