I have about $700 to spend, and I want to get a new setup for the car.
I drive a Mazdaspeed 3, which is a 5-door hatch. I need good sound quality, with the ability to get loud on occasion. Basically, if I have to pick, SQ is more important.
I listen to metal, rock, and some jazz. I need the bass to be quick and punchy, with a lot of weight.
I am willing to sacrifice my whole trunk, so I can go with 1 or 2 subs, 10, 12, or 15".
Amp cannot be more than my stock electircal can handle (I already have another 600w 4 channel running in the car).
Ideas? I see the FI q series are nice. I also have been looking at the PPI flat-cones. Pheonix gold RSD, or maybe the ID, IDQ or max?
