Just as the title says I've been out the car audio game for a few months now. I broke a tinsel lead on my fi Q (user error), finally got around to sending it to Fi, and should be getting it back this week. I'll be selling it for $230 since is basically brand new (already sold).

Now here comes the fun part, I also have a USAmps Xt4000d which I'll be getting rid of and most likely picking up either a zx1200.1 or a zx1500.1. I want to use this amp with something that is brutally loud, probably a single 15. The Q got loud enough for anyone's daily listening needs, I'm just a bass addict and want even more. My question is what 15 do you guys suggest I go with. I listen to rap and drum and bass, which means sq isn't as big of concern as spl is to me. My budget is $250-$300 and I don't want to go with a box much bigger than 4^3 ft.

I've got a few subs in mind, but I want to hear what everyone has to say first. Sorry for the long post! and thanks in advance!

DD 9515... Orion HCAA 15".... MTX 8515 .. All brutally loud .. the MTX is not as loud as the other two but can make your ears hurt also!

I know it's cliche by now, but I had an Audioque HD3 a while back, and it was loud enough to make baby Jesus cry.

1500 rms, 3-4^3 box tuned to 30-32 hz in the hatch of an rsx, which sub is going to make me happy as a daily street beater: 15'' L7, 15" HDC3, 15'' Fi BL

SIngle 15" AQ HD3C on a AudioQue 2200 should bang hard enough for you, you got just enough room to make a decent size box for one.

Doesnt the XT4000 make 1500watts at 1 ohm, I dont see the kicker as really an upgrade there. Unless you get a used 2500.1

Otherwise get a 15" L7 and throw that XT4000 on it in 4 cubes with plenty of port area it should wang!

the xterminator line of usamps is over rated, found that out after i bought it. supposed to do 900-1000rms @ 1 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif . so i think i've narrowed it down to either an hdc3 15 or an L7 15. pros and cons of both?
