Oh in sound quality, yes, there will be differences. The CS's will have way more aggressive midbass since they are based on the 7" Vanadium subwoofers and come with the CAL27 Silk tweeters as opposed to the Germaniums CAL25 Silk tweeters. Both sets are reported to have excellent clarity across the volume range.

I second any of those 3 dealers on here...all great guys.

For your amp for a set of Powerlines, I'd consider an Alpine PDX 4.150, if you've got $$375-$400 to spend on an amp. Bridged it should give you right about 330-340wx2.

actually tests have shown the pdx amps to do little less than 500 watts bridged FYI. Just check the CA&E review of the 4.150.
