6x9's 800w d

I have two pioneer 6x9s on a pioneer gm-d9500 800w amp and when i play them they only play bass does anybody know how to make them play sound?

check your low pass filter........also do u have the rca's on the right output on the deck?

I have one rca cable coming from my head unit it goes to my 800w amp that powers my 6x9s and it goes to my 1200w amp that powers my subs.

yes i have two rcs's coming from my head unit one for each amp

take a picture of the switches on the amp that powers the 6x9's

It's the switches that say LPF/HPF, set them to off or HPF.

ok is there a certain hz it should be on

HPF means high pass filter. Whatever point you set it to only frequencies above that point will pass through. For 6x9's you'd prob want to set it somewhere between 50-90 hz. Try it & see what sounds good.
