Can you define active network headunit.. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

Basically what this looks like. You wont have front and rear options, its just sub, mid and tweeter. No passive crossovers like your components set you can just piece together powerful drivers and adjust the crossover settings on the go so it works perfectly with your vehicle acoustics. Not to mention proper time alignment as well.

****.. I'm a rookie 4 real... But I like that setup in a headunit. Will try to find one in a double din.. My car does not support single din an there are no single fascias for it. I'v checked.

Well I'm currently running an alpine Type R SPR60 C (woofer in back panels) (hatchback) tweeters on the dash. an SPR60 in from doors. Would those Rockford do better?

I'd put more power to those alpines before swapping things out. the type Rs i ran 150 watts rms to them easily and they liked it.

The spr 60 c can take that much.. But the spr60(woofers) Dnt like it one bit... The reason for 1 set of spr 60c is that the tweeters is comes with are really insanely loud... 110rms tweeter for it size... It can take heaps an then some hey.

if you get any distortion its mainly from your amp not having enough power. Otherwise if you have clean power, they can take a lot if you adjust high pass filters accordingly.
