6x9 help needed

Those are really nice, previous old school killer 6x9's are the Cerwin CS-18a's (pictured below), JBL T545 & T595, and Magnum Professional 6x9 3-way component set. My Magnum's are 23 years old and sport a 1 1/2" VC and a cast aluminum frame and 8lb magnets.
Those look very sweet, I would love to have a pair of them. However, those surrounds look so big they would probably interfere with the stock grills in my Honda.

holy crap, i used to have a set of magnum separates. the 6x9 woofers and the mid|tweet's in an enclosure!

Yep, those are the ones. Cast aluminum grilles for the speakers and the mid/tweet modules. I found the woofers NOS on eBay, and then found a complete set with the modules a couple of years later. The woofer surrounds were shot but all I needed was the modules. I just had to rebuild the modules, the drivers gave out after 23 years of service and being baked by the sun.

I have two pairs of the CV CS-18a's they have the resetable horn tweeters and the surrounds will never wear out since they are coated woven material. They are sitting but they still sound fabulous to this day.
